MISSION STATMENT- KPMI (Knowledge Programming Mentorship Innovation) is dedicated to bridging the gap between theoretical science and hands-on engineering. By bringing custom robotics workshops and Arduino-based curriculum to New Jersey schools, we empower the next generation of innovators to build, programme, and lead.

Top fan-favourite projects
KPM V3 — Sensor Intelligence
Upgrade: Ultrasonic sensor mounted on servo with “look-before-move” logic
Problem: Detected walls but missed floor-level obstacles
Fix: Learned importance of sensor placement and chassis geometry
Lesson: Mechanical design directly affects software performance
KPM-navigate-WG2
IR sensors on fingertips: Directional awareness
Flame sensor: Heat detection
Ultrasonic sensor (top): Redundant backup if IR fails
Outcome: Fast to deploy, durable, intuitive UX
In-built alarm system and vibration sensor.
Lesson: Technology must adapt to users, not the other way around.
KPM navigate-WG1
Design: Full wearable jacket prototype.
Problem: The material was too delicate and the jacket was very hard to put on.
Outcome: Proved the concept but lacked the durability and ease of use needed for a final piece.
Lesson: A design is only good if the user can actually wear it easily.
more upgrades added on from KPM-navigate-WG2
with more lights and better alarm system .
